Professional Puppy Snuggler

Pet care experience

Hey there! I'm Nicole, a full time photographer that works from home. I have two kids, an 8 year old and a 2 year old. We have two rescue dogs of our own--Logan (as in Wolverine) is an 8 year old Chiweenie and Bruce (as in Bruce Banner) is a 3 year old Beabull. My husband will tell you he would be content not having dogs, but the number of times I catch him snuggling with them on the couch says otherwise. I love dogs, and always had one growing up, so I wanted the same for my kids. The compromise with my husband to agree to having dogs was that he would get to name them. So...here we are...two dogs with names influenced by comic books! I am available weekday mornings, afternoons, and evenings for drop-in visits and walks. Doggy daycare and boarding are also available during the week, as well as weekends. During walks, I like to get my exercise in as well as theirs, and make sure to pick up after them. During home visits, your pup will get plenty of snuggles, belly rubs, and a bathroom break. I will feed them, give them water, and administer any medication they may need, per your instruction. During doggy day care and boarding, your pup will be a temporary member of our family, and doted on as though they are our own. My two kids are very gentle with dogs and I will only accept dogs under 40 pounds that do well with young children, that have no history of aggressive behaviors with children or other dogs. There will be plenty of couch snuggle time, walks, play time, and attention! I will follow any schedule you may have for meals, medication, and anything else that is part of their routine. I've had instances when we've had to board our dogs and when we pick them up, there's a re-adjustment period. I'm not a fan of this, so I like to make sure it's as close to what they're used with you! During their boarding stay, I will send you photo and/or video updates of your pup to check in, so you can see how they're doing! We do live in a townhouse and don't have an actual yard. So, outside time will need to be leashed when walking around the neighborhood.

Nicole has been great for my Labrador mix. I work crazy hours during the week and don't get to take Winston out on "real" walks as much as I would like. Nicole has been walking him for awhile now, and it helps release some young dog energy he has!

We have left our two beagles with Nicole when we needed boarding for our dogs. She wanted to get all the dogs (hers and ours) together to make sure they all got along, before committing to our booking. I appreciated that she had our best interests in mind, rather than jist accepting them. Her dogs are wonderful and ours got along with them great. They all had fun playing and having friends for a week. She sent me daily photos (sometimes video clips) of what they were up to during their stay! I loved having that visual update that they were in good hands and having fun!

Ok! So, our Missy has some anxiety. Is dog anxiety even a thing?! She gets incredibly nervous and anxious when we leave for work, and she is nervous around new people. She is a rescue, and based on her anxiety, I'm pretty sure she didn't come from the best environment. Nicole has two rescues herself, and understands that sometimes they just have quirks. She has always been accommodating to Missy and took her time building up a relationship where Missy can trust her. Missy loves going on walks with Nicole and having her check in during the day. With this, she has been much happier by the time we get home. It has put my mind at ease knowing Nicole is able to stop by and give Missy some attention and to calm her nerves!

Nicole is wonderful with our golden retriever! She is reliable, patient, and kind. Our dog is an older dog, and is starting to show his age. He loves when she stops by. He knows he will get plenty of butt scratches and follows Nicole around the whole time! Nicole has been great with our dog, and it's obvious she cares for him as one of her own.

Information Nicole C. would like to know about your pet

For Doggy daycare and boarding, dogs mus be less than 40 pounds. As much as I love larger breeds, we simply don't have the space to properly accommodate them at the moment. They must be up to date with their rabies, good with young children, and at least tolerating of other dogs. No history of any aggressive behaviors. I would love to know as much as possible about your pup! Is there something they particularly love? A certain toy or treat? Do they not like to be petted in a certain spot? Are they quirky and require being walked in a certain way in order to do their business? Do they nervous/excited pee? Etc.
