Pet care experience
I worked as a veterinary assistant for 5 years and absolutely love it! I have a greyhound and a cat that I could not live without. I sometimes say I’m much like a kid with animals and just want to play all the time, so I promise your babies will have lots of fun! I also love taking dogs on walks— they make exercise worth it! All my pets are up-to-date on vaccines and have flea and tick prevention, so no worries there. I also have experience with pets of all kinds and ages, and can administer medications if needed. I look forward to meeting you and your pet!

Nicole did a wonderful job taking care of my beagle Lucy, pampering her and taking her for walks in the park. This was a treat for her to go out in her dog stroller since she is crippled. Nicole really cares for pets.

A typical day
Knoxville has a lot of parks that I like to visit as well as hiking trails. I often enjoy going to Ijams Nature Center, World’s Fair Park, and Sequoyah Park. I also have a greyhound that is very friendly if your pet is dog-friendly.

Availability
I work at a specialty veterinary hospital Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, but I am home for lunch around 1pm. My roommate also is home most of the day, because she works an opposite schedule than I do. Other than work, I am generally home or out and about with my partner in crime (my greyhound, Timmy.)
