Pet care experience

*Licensed *Bonded & Insured with PetSitters Associates *Pet CPR and 1st Aid Certified *10 years of non-profit management experience *Love multi-pet households I love dogs and most pets! Over the span of our 20 year relationship, my ex and I had dogs, including a chow mix, 2 pit & lab mixes, a very energetic labradoodle, and a shy Bouvier des Flandre. I am very comfortable looking after so called "bully" breeds like pits, bull dogs, and other misunderstood breeds. I am really good with large dogs and multi-pet families. I completed a course on Pet Emergency Response and CPR, I've learned how to administer Sub Q fluids, and I've taken care of a dog with Megaesophagus. I am a member of TrustedHousesitters, an international house sitting group. If you need it, I love giving ideas for how to make senior pets more comfortable and I'm very experienced with families transitioning after the loss of a pet. I am great at reading dog body language, I love to play, and I can help re-enforce your commands that you use at home with your buddy. I am also an expert at giving cuddles. I have learned a ton from my ex-boyfriend about using positive reinforcement, socializing, and caring for shy dogs when he had his boarding and daycare business. Each animal has a distinct personality and preferences. I also enjoy pet sitting for other kinds of pets too, if that is helpful. I have experience with pigs, pet birds, cats, chickens, and I love most animals. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask! ***LGBTQIA friendly*** I love referrals and I'm excited to post pix on my instagram eatplaypooppets.

Nicole was punctual, personable, and communicative. Our trip was more enjoyable knowing that she was taking care of our two pups. We will absolutely recommend her to our friends and family. Thank you Nicole!

Of my 5 animals, 3 are on medications twice a day, and 2 are super seniors who need extra love and attention, so it's very hard to leave them! Nicole gave me the confidence and ability to take a short vacation without worrying about my complicated, furry crew. Her level of communication was very helpful, and I know her calm, compassionate demeanor helped with any anxiety my critters had while I was gone. I absolutely recommend her for pet sitting!

Safety, trust & environment

I care for your pets in your home, and I follow your preferences for safety and security. If needed, I might add extra leash precautions if your harness and leash are not sturdy or if your dog is a puller.

Information Nicole B. would like to know about your pet

Tell me about your pet and their favorite things to do. What should I know to make this the best experience for us? Any quirks? Any favorite toys, treats, and activities? I am now licensed, insured, and bonded as my own business!

A typical day

When I stay over at your house, I water the plants and bring in the mail. Generally, a regular overnight sit goes from 7pm to 7am with the animal's routine being very important to me. I am very flexible and I spend as much time as I can with your pups. I also do drop-ins and walks during the day, so I am not necessarily able to stay in the home all day with a pet. I play fetch really well, I can play chase, teach commands, I love dog toys, and I am an excellent poop picker upper. I prefer meet and greets so that we can figure out the best service for your needs and I love meeting everyone. I offer additional, personalized packages for your needs, such as poop pick up visits, pup matching services for play time, and concierge services like taking your pet to the vet and driving your pet to get groomed! Rover.com doesn't have a way for me to list these extra services out, so please message me on Rover to get started. I am now licensed, insured, and bonded as my own business!

I can usually work from my client's home, and I will likely have walks or drop ins during the day. I include a mid day drop in for all overnight clients if I need to be away from the client's home during the day. I communicate my schedule and am happy to answer any questions.
