I’m a Canine Handler!
Pet care experience
Hello! I have grown up with dogs of all sizes my whole life. I am a canine handler for Walt Disney World and I have experience with dogs anywhere from 5 pounds to 100+ pounds. I also have experience with puppies as early as 2 months old. My apartment complex offers a large, fenced dog park for play time and an agility course (for higher energy dogs). As far as my previous work experience, I was a stable-hand for two years at a functioning horse stable. Being in the animal industry I understand that these animals are not pets, but members of your family and that is how they should be treated! I have a dog of my own, so I also understand needs for specific eating, exercise, and potty schedules. I have experience administering oral medications and injections.

Nicole did a wonderful job with drop-in visits for our 2 dogs while we were out of town. She was very friendly and professional. She was able to take great care of our dog with diabetes, including administering insulin shots 2x/day. We would definitely recommend her and will continue to use her in the future.
Nicole has done an amazing job with my high-energy goofball. Ava is very timid with new people but has warmed up very quickly to Nicole. Nicole follows all instructions very well and sends updates with every visit. My experience with her has been wonderful and I will not be using anyone else to check in on my baby. Thank you Nicole!
Nicole did an awesome job watching our dog, Charlie! She took him on many walks each day and sent pictures of Charlie to us. Her dog Koda is the sweetest pup and they got along great!

While I do not have breed any breed restrictions, I do require that your dog is friendly with other dogs if he/she will be boarding with me. I do have a dog who is super friendly and will welcome your dog with a wagging tail!
A typical day
Being in the Independence community there is a surplus of dog-walking areas (including trails and dog parks). I take my dog, Koda, on walks in these areas multiple times a day.

Since I have my own dog, I understand the daily needs of pets when it comes to eating, socializing, and exercise. I do my best to adjust my schedule to meet the needs of your pet.
