Providing love and peace of mind.

Pet care experience

Hi! I'm Nicole and I would love to get to you know and your "fur-child". Each dog is so unique and I look forward to discovering your dog's personality! I am available to care for dogs in my own home (boarding), take them for walks, or have them over for doggy daycare. Loving animals, especially dogs, is in my DNA. I grew up in an animal-loving family, learning to care for dogs (big and small), cats, goats, and rodents growing up! It only made sense to work for a veterinarian for three years during young-adulthood where I gained a lot of experience with all types and sizes of dogs and medical conditions. I have also fostered and volunteered with two dog rescues. My husband and I now have three "senior citizen" dogs ourselves, who enjoy long walks around the neighborhood, hikes, and trips to the beach. I understand the uneasiness of leaving your family member(s) in the care of someone else. I take that concern very seriously, communicating with you while you are away (I know photos make everyone's day!), ensuring they receive the love and care they deserve, and leave feeling happy and pampered so you can be confident leaving them in my care. I’m currently working from home so I’m available all day to tend to your pets needs and give them the comfort and care they deserve. My three golden retrievers will be happy to play or snuggle or just plain leave your pup alone depending on what is best for your pup. They are keen on doggie social skills and respect a dog's boundaries if they are more of the “lets just chill” type. I also have a fully fenced yard that is 8ft high with secure gates. I don’t let the dogs into the yard without supervision. A typical day consists of walks around our neighborhood, lots of cuddles, and playing fetch in the yard (their favorite). If your pup is up for it, and with your permission, you may find us enjoying a nice hike on the weekends! The Details: Drop off is from 4-8pm and pick up is from 7-11am, otherwise doggy day care applies for one or both respective start/end days ($35/day). If you need a drop off or pick up before 7 AM, or a drop off or pick up later than 8 PM, I request that you leave your dog for an additional night of boarding. In certain circumstances, I will allow drop offs or pick ups past 8 PM or before 7 AM, but it is $15 for every hour or increment thereof. I don't do midday pick ups and drop offs, especially on the weekend, because we are typically out on dog walks/adventures! All pick ups and drop offs need to be scheduled in advance. Even if I am marked BOOKED on the calendar, please don't hesitate to contact me via a general inquiry or a custom quote. For new clients, I require a meet-and-greet prior to boarding to ensure we both feel it is mutually a good fit. There is nothing worse than feeling uneasy about where your dog will be staying and gives peace of mind to know the environment your dog will be, who they will be staying with, and that our dogs will get along. About Your Dog: Your dog(s) must be up-to-date on all vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordatella), and flea preventative. You dog(s) MUST be able to be alone, unsupervised in my home for a couple of hours at a time, whether in a crate or free reign, as I go for a jog and run errands occasionally and want to ensure your dog’s safety. ALL DOGS MUST BE FULLY HOUSE TRAINED. An accident in a new environment is very understandable, but dogs who habitually have accidents, mark inside, and/or obviously aren’t house trained, are subject to the termination below. I DO NOT accept dogs with excessive barking issues, severe separation anxiety, strong dominance issues, or aggression towards humans or other dogs. I cannot take dogs that are sick, have diarrhea, or are vomiting prior to drop off. TERMINATION: YOU MUST DISCLOSE IF YOUR DOG(S) HAVE ANY OF THESE ISSUES LISTED ABOVE. IF YOUR DOG EXHIBITS ANY OF THESE BEHAVIORS, I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO IMMEDIATELY TERMINATE THE STAY AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED $150 PER DAY UNTIL THE DOG IS PICKED UP BY YOU, YOUR EMERGENCY CONTACT, OR ANOTHER SITTER ARRANGED BY ROVER. If you are unsure if your dog exhibits any of these behaviors, or is very hyperactive, please reach out and we can discuss on a case-by-case basis! In certain scenarios, a day of doggy daycare may be required prior to boarding. Mellow, large dogs and senior dogs will fit in especially well here, but I love and welcome all breeds, ages, and sizes! I am excited to meet other dog loving members of my community and their furry family members. Please contact me if you think I am a good fit for you, have questions, or want to schedule a meet and greet!

Nicole did an amazing job watching Samson! Samson had a small adjustment period and Nicole was very patient with him. Nicole sent updates and photos which helped to ease my mind! Nicole has a wonderful yard and 3 sweet, gentle dogs! I would highly recommend her and would absolutely use her again!

Nicole and her pack are amazing. My little guy loves it there and is so tired and happy when his daycare is done.

Information Nicole B. would like to know about your pet

What is their schedule? What do they enjoy doing? Do they get along with other dogs? What commands or tricks do they know? Do they enjoy walks? Hikes? How far/long? Any leash reactivity? Are they an escape artist? Do they dig? Are there any health or behavior issues I should be aware of? Do they have excessive barking issues? Are they crate trained? Are they a resource guarder? Do they have any allergies? What are your expectations for their stay? How can I spoil them? The more information you can provide, the more we can ensure it's a good fit for the both of us and that your pup will have the best possible stay.
