I have been a Certified Veterinary Technician since 2016. I currently work at a local General Practice vet. My husband and I have 2 dogs and a cat.

Nicole was wonderful to work with. I have an old diabetic cat who is very afraid of anyone outside the family. I've never hired someone to help when we are out of town and was nervous about how it would go. Nicole came to feed the cat and give her shots. She handled my cat like the pro she is. Since she is a vet tech, she completely understood and knew how to deal with my cat's fear without any problems. I am so happy I now have someone to help and will be using Nicole moving forward. You should too!

I have 2 dogs who can safely run/play in their own backyard. One of my dogs can be reactive to some dogs, but Newt, my greyhound, LOVES other dogs, so playmates are an option upon request with him. I am open to working out plans to get the best care for your pets!

It is important to know about any special needs, medications, and behavior problems. I own a leash-reactive dog so I know the struggle of trying to walk her. Being a licensed technician I am comfortable with pets with special needs and medications.
A typical day
Dogs that stay here would absolutely need a meet and greet with one of our dogs, Ellie. They have free run to a large backyard, lots of toys, and plenty of attention! There is a forest preserve nearby that I typically walk to and can vary the length based on pet needs and/or energy level.

Availability
I understand pet care is at the top of any owners priority list. My dogs are able to run in a fully fenced backyard, but they definitely enjoy their walks as well. I work full 7am-8pm shifts and Thursdays and Fridays, so I am unable to do much those days (before and after is open). I work every other weekend and Monday afternoons. I am open to working with your schedule to make sure you pet is well taken care of!
