My name is Delilah. I have been providing pet care services for cats and dogs since 2018. I am proficient in the basics such as feeding, exercise, clean-up duties, and consistently spending time caring for your pet. My skill set has expanded through my experience working in animal care jobs and rescues. I am adept at meeting special requirements and managing multiple tasks in a short amount of time, allowing me to work efficiently in fast-paced environments. I have worked with pet owners whose animals have special needs, such as diabetes, liver issues, eye infections, allergies, dietary restrictions, blindness, deafness, and mobility challenges in elderly pets. I am skilled in administering injections, applying ointments, giving oral pills, and accommodating special diets. Additionally, I have experience managing dogs and cats with some behavioral or aggression issues. I provide regular updates and pictures to owners and strictly follow instructions for medications, feeding times, and dietary requirements. I spend time caring for pets, rescues, and strays. My experience with kittens and puppies began at a young age during frequent visits to my grandmother's large property, where I spent many years. The property was home to numerous strays and often had new litters requiring bathing, bottle-feeding, medication, warmth, and tender care. We continued this care with the process of spaying and neutering. I was selected for an internship at Sage Animal Hospital, where I observed numerous dogs, cats, and other animals from various backgrounds. During the internship, I gained insight into the behind-the-scenes operations. I saw how some machines operated and was allowed in the operating room to witness a surgical procedure visually.
