We housesit back to back all over the country. Hello and welcome! We are Nicky and Chris, an easy going, friendly couple in their mid 30s. We are full time housesitters in the UK and abroad. We both adore dogs and cats, and in fact any furry pets. We started dog sitting together five years ago when we lived in London. As we worked full time then, it wasn't possible to have our own furry companions. Instead, we spent our weekends walking dogs for local families, and cared for them in our house overnight too. It was a fantastic experience. In 2019, we decided to overhaul our lifestyle. We quit our full time jobs to travel for 14 months. During this time we completed three wonderful housesits for families in Bali and Australia. In Bali, we cared for a pack of four dogs (a dalmatian, a labrador, a dachshund and a shih tzu) for two months and it was so much fun. We are extremely confident and competent in looking after all pets but particularly with large dogs. COVID-19 cut our trip short but we’ve been lucky enough to continue our housesitting adventure closer to home. We’ve bow completed over 30 sits. In addition to our housesitting we both have lot of personal experience. As well as various hamsters, gerbils, and fish, we’ve also both grown up with pets in our homes. Chris grew up with two chubby, energetic golden retrievers and two grumpy cats, while Nicky grew up with a stubborn shih tzu. As a result, we are very capable handling pets with all sorts of personalities and are comfortable with pets that have special needs (i.e. medicines or particular care routines). Since returning to the UK, we have been able to move our work online and work from home. Nicky is a Virtual Assistant and Chris is a software developer. The nature of our work means that we don’t have any particular location ties and will be spending most of our day at home; perfect for housesitting, as we will have plenty of time to care for your pets (and spoil them a bit with attention). As all of our work is online we do need a high speed, reliable internet connection that can support video calls. We really enjoy housesitting and love the chance to experience living in a different area. We’re old enough to be considered boring, responsible, and very respectful to your home; we will always treat your home as we would want ours to be treated. We are extremely active and we love walking - dog walks provide the perfect excuse to have time away from our screens! We understand you want to enjoy your time away, knowing that your precious pets are in the very best of hands.
