***UPDATE*** Please read our entire profile before sending us a request. My wife and I have been working with Rover for a number of years now and so have our dogs (Children). They know the routine and are happy to share their home, mom, and dad with your dog while you are away. We have encountered and worked through just about every situation and combination we can think of and have made the appropriate adjustments to provide the best environment for your pup while you are gone. We have a large client base on Rover and even more off. Having the right fit is far more important than booking every request we receive, and we assure you we do not do this for the money. We are not looking for "one-night stands" as a long-term relationship is what will be most rewarding for everyone involved. If this is your pups first time with us it will take more than one day for them to get comfortable and for us to build up trust and bond with them. Your dog will do far better on day 2 and 3, and even more so on visit number 2 or 3 with us. The most stressful thing for a dog is their human being gone. We want to eliminate that stress for them by creating a recognizable and comfortable place for them while you are away. Many of our regulars have been boarding with us for years and lots of them bring their pups over 1-2 times a week for day care, play time and walks. A few of our regular clients even have us take their dog on our morning hikes because their pup gets so much enjoyment out of it. We believe our pictures speak for themselves and while there are many of other great sitters out there, we pride ourselves in being at the top of that list. ***ABOUT ME*** My name is Nico, I am 42 years old and have had dogs since the day I was born. From Poodles to Pit Bulls, Shepherds to Chows, I have owned and loved them all. Dogs just have a way of putting a smile on our faces even in the worst of times. My wife and I have no children, so we treat our dogs as if they were. If your dog is a member of your family then our house a perfect fit for your baby to stay and play with us. We are dog people! ***ABOUT OUR DOGS*** We have 2 dogs of our own. Sam is a 6-year-old mutt mix and Bap a 6 ½ year old Shiba Inu, Korean Jindo mix. They love to go everywhere and do everything my wife and I do. Whether that is a long hike, a car ride, or just sitting on the patio at any of the local dog-friendly establishments Tucson has to offer, as long as they are with us they have not a care in the world. We understand that dogs just want to be with their humans and so we provide that same environment for your pup while you are away. ***HOW I WILL CARE FOR YOUR DOGGIE*** Your dog will be treated/spoiled like (s)he is one of our own and will cater to your dog's every need. My wife and I have been working with Rover for a number of years now and I believe we are some of the most flexible and adaptive sitters out there. We have a giant backyard for your dog play in the grass and run their little heart out. There is a park literally around the corner from my house with a giant grass field that we frequent and at the end of my street are a handful of trails in the open desert. Our dogs receive a lot of play time and exercise and based on your dog's obedience level and your comfortability as the owner, we would love for your doggie to join us. If not, no need to worry, our giant back yard accommodates dogs of all sizes. Our home is 100% doggie friendly and If your fur baby is most comfortable on our couch or in our bed hogging all the leg room, then that is where they will be. If your pup is more comfortable/trained to sleep in their kennel, we can accommodate that as well. If your dog needs medication or special feeding times, rest assure it is being taken care of. My wife and I had two 15-year-old pups that required multiple medications twice a day, we are doggie medication specialist (including injections). We also have a live feed security camera in our home so if we have to step out for any reason, we will still have eyes on your baby the entire time. Dogs are NEVER left alone outside, and we will not leave any dog outside if/when we need to leave the house. ***LET’S MEET*** Please bring your dog with you and come visit our home for a meet and greet ahead of time.
