Pet care experience
I am a big animal lover! I have an array of experience working with all kinds of animals. I have over 20 years of experience working and caring for dogs and cats. Additionally, I have over 10 years working with horses so if you are ever in need of some additional help on your farm or if you are leaving for a trip and need someone to look after them while you're gone, I would be more than happy to do so. I have worked with puppies, kittens, and foals, and have had even more experience with senior and geriatric pets. I originally went to school for veterinary technology and spent several years working as a groom and a show manager at horse stables, so my experience is well-rounded. I have spent many hours volunteering at the humane society and recently fostered a family of kittens. I also have experience with caged animals - I have handled all kinds of rodents and rabbits as well, as I have two of my own. I have cared for birds and flying squirrels as well.

Nicky is so good with my two dogs. You can tell she has a love for pets! One of my dogs is older and the other is only 1 year and she catered to both of their needs very well! My pups left happy and tired! She is great with giving updates throughout the day and is pretty quick about getting back to you when it comes to communication! I had no doubts about if my dog were in good hands or not! Nicky made this a very stress free, and helped ease my mind while away from my pups. I would highly recommend Nicky, and would use her in the future if need be! 10/5 stars if I could give them!!
Nicky was an incredible sitter. Great communication and flexibility, and great with handling our lab. We will certainly reach out to Nicky again next time we need a dog sitter.
Nicky was terrifically responsive and highly communicative during Cashew’s day stay. She quickly indicated she was available to host at the last minute and helpfully kept me updated throughout the day, including great photos of my bruiser behaving with her pup. Nicky is a Super Rover and we’ll definitely be back.

All breeds and ages are welcomed :) Please let me know if your dog is not spayed or neutered (unless they’re a puppy). Not fixing your dogs significantly increases the odds of them marking inside my home so there will be an additional fee for incidentals.
A typical day
If your dog will be staying with me - there are several parks within walking distance of my apartment. I can take them on long walks, we can play ball or frisbee or if your dog would like, we can stroll down to the dog park and play with other dogs in our neighborhood. I also have a fenced in front yard to play in.

Availability
I am currently working from home so I will be at home with your pet around the clock and can take them out for potty breaks, playtime and walks as often as needed. I am also available anytime during the weekends. Looking forward to working with you and your fur babies :)
