Pet care experience
I have many years of experience with pets, both young and old. I have always had dogs (and cats) and rescued numerous dogs and placed them in good homes. I'm retired so my availability is quite flexible. Every dog has its individual personality, and whatever your dog likes that's what we'll do. I have a large dog, Ava, a medium sized dog, Kevin, and a small dog, Mitchell. We've had many rescues and fosters here and they get along well with others. We have a large fenced backyard and a small fenced front yard. I'm patient and calm with animals, and sensitive to their needs. I believe dogs benefit from consistency and routine and will accommodate schedules such as feeding, medication, exercise, and bathroom breaks (we do have a dog door).

Nickie has a very dog-friendly home and yard; paid attention and took good care of our shy but engaging 2-yr old rescue dog; helped him socialize with other dogs, took him on a daily walk and sent us pictures. Lots of little above-and-beyond care from a person who obviously cares for dogs. We will happily dog-board with her again. Thanks Nickie. B & N.
Nickie was absolutley fantastic and we couldn't have been happier with her, and we know our Ember girl had a great time, too! As was evident with how exausted she was for the rest of the night! We would absolutley have Ember stay with Nickie and her awesome pack of pooches again in the future! Thanks again, Nickie!!
Nickie is amazing! Had to leave my 6mo old pointer pup for the first time on a week trip and was a bit nervous. Nickie made me feel so comfortable and confident I was leaving my pup in a safe, fun and stimulating environment. She is very patient and flexible as well! When I came back, my puppy was right at home and worn out from all the play time! Definitely recommend!
