My life and schedule currently: I am now living in Madrid, Iowa! I am working a full time position Saturdays-Tuesdays of each week, but have plenty of time for pet care in addition to that and am now accepting new clients in the area. Get to know me: Our pets are incredible creatures who are individually unique and I love watching their personalities emerge as I get to know them. My family has owned three dogs - those passed have both lived long happy lives - and currently has a golden retriever puppy that I enjoy snagging up for a day of hiking and a cat who owns the house. My experience includes volunteering and working with horses and people at summer camps while I also volunteered as a teenager at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa - working with both dogs and cats (and whatever other species we tend to) and was happily employed part-time as an Animal Care Technician for a few years before taking a dive into what I went to school for, environmental work. Let me tell you, I miss the League and it’s animals every day. Animals are very important to me and I will make sure that your dog or cat always receives immense love and the best care I can offer. I would love to take your dog on a walk or even a run if it is suitable for your dog, as I frequently run on my own (keep in mind, dogs under the age of 1 should not run hard or long as their joints are still developing). Having a buddy makes it all the more fun and is great for us both, and is a service to you! I also have dog sat many times for friends and have cared for many different breeds and energy levels.
