Hi, my name is Nicki. I’m a Pediatric nurse and I’m currently back in graduate school to get my masters and become an FNP. I’m home a lot studying. I live with my loving boyfriend who is kind and gentle and also loves dogs. [You can see him and our apartment pictured on my profile.] He works on computers, most often from home. We both enjoy music, food and friendship. I would love a dog of my own, but am not in a great place in my life right now to get one as I will soon be graduating and we will likely be moving. Thus, I am looking for a furry companion or two who is in need of some TLC until we are ready to adopt a pup of our own.

Nicki has been wonderful! She sent me updates during my dogs stay with her, and I can tell that my dog was very happy and enjoyed being with Nicki.
I have known Nicki for about 10 years as a friend and she has helped me raise 2 puppies. I trust her to take care of my dogs when I am away and she is my number one option for helping with my dogs when I am in a bind. She is very loving towards all animals and takes care of them as if they are her own. She is very respectful of my space when she stays with my dogs and always leaves it better than she found it. I would absolutely recommend her for all of your doggy needs.
I used nicki with my pups and she was freaking awesome! My dogs loved her and she was great with all my dogs. I couldn’t have asked for a better dog walker. I am glad we met and I still use her . She has a great personality and she has a true heart for dogs. I feel 100% comfortable knowing that she is the one who walks my dogs.
Nicki is an excellent caretaker and a natural animal lover. She will 100% take care of your animals as if they are her own. She has watched both my dog and cat on several occasions and I feel 100% at ease every time. She has been taking care of a variety of animals in different capacities for many years now. I would highly recommend Nicki to anyone looking for someone to watch their pets while they travel or need someone to stop by for walks.

I would want to know if there’s anything I could say or do upon arrival to let them know I’m friendly and non-threatening, for example a nickname or command they answer to. If snacks or dog treats are allowed and if so, what kind. And if there's anything that makes your pup startle or frighten.
A typical day
I live near Logan square park and Humboldt park where there are plenty of trails and places to pee. Parsons on a nice day is always an option. I live near the 606 bike trail and in a great neighborhood for walking the sidewalks. There are plenty of squirrels, smells and stimulating sounds.
