Pet care experience
I first handled newborn kittens, unassisted, when I was 13. Prior to that I had my mother teach me everything she knew. I learned how to feed, potty and comfort them. From the first time I did was able to do this fully by myself, I’ve been in love with helping all animals. I’ve taken care of neonatal kittens and pups, and I’ve also cared for adult and senior cats and dogs. I know how to give medications, oral and injection. I’ve had many, many animals in my care over the last decade, and each one has held a special place in my heart. I currently have two dogs, a 1 year old mix who has joint issues and a 3 year old pup who takes oral medication for severe allergies, one 6 year old cat who takes injection medication, and a bearded dragon. I love all animals as if they were my own! I’m also a Veterinary Technician student!

If your pet will be staying with me, I have a 3 bed, 2 bath, one story home. Small steps to enter the house but I’m willing/able to lift/assist senior and disabled pets. My second bedroom is my sons room, but he isn’t old enough to use it yet. It’s currently what I call my “Baby Hotel” it has a full sized bed and mattress (blankets too!!) that your dog l can gladly use! My 2 dogs and cat LOVE to sleep in it! I also have a fridge for any meds or food that needs to be kept a precise temperature. I also have crates available and plenty of soft blankets for your baby to use. I will disallow any interaction with my animals if you so choose, but my babies love any and everyone so I know they would get along!

I have no issues caring for any of your babies that might need a little extra attention or needs almost constant supervision. I just ask that you be upfront and let me know exactly what he or she needs so I know what I need to do should a situation arise. My goal is to have a perfect stay for both your babies and you with no stress on either! I can provide calming treats, weighted comfort wraps and make meals exactly how they love them, I just need to know ahead of time! Does your baby only walk properly on a harness or only likes to potty in one specific spot? Let me know! Can’t stand strangers or protective of your home? Let me know so I can approach in the best way for them!
A typical day
I love to take our dogs out in our backyard to run and play, or the the dog park that’s nearby! It’s usually empty when we go so there’s plenty of room to stretch out and do some zoomies!

I am home all day doing online classes (thanks Covid!) with my one year old son and I’m looking to help anyone care for their pets who are working, going away or need extra assistance during these times!
