Pet care experience
I've grown up with 4-5 dogs (usually 2 at once) my whole life before moving to San Francisco 4 years ago. I have experience with puppies, adult, and elderly dogs, high energy dogs who want to play all the time to gentle dogs who just want constant affection. Recently I dog sat my roommate's bull terrier while he worked, and I am understanding and patient with all types. I love being around dogs so much and I've missed it! I'd be thrilled to spend time with yours. All dogs are perfect, but I love large dogs especially.

Nicki was great with our little Betty!
Nicki really helped us out when our dog, Betty, was recovering from surgery and needed a little extra TLC during the days. Betty and Nicki got on great and we know that Betty was far more calm with a friend around than she would have been on her own.

I prefer to know bathroom habits (will your dog let me know he needs to go out, or is it best to take him on scheduled bathroom breaks?), how your dog gets along with other dogs (in case we go to a dog park), and a general idea about your dog's personality. No real breed preferences, but my favorite breed is the Boxer. I love playful boxers!
A typical day
If your dog is energetic, we'll walk and play in nearby golden gate park. Frisbees, tennis balls, or just plain running around--whatever your dog seems to like best. If you have an older dog who prefers to rest more, we'll take more leisurely strolls around the neighborhood with plenty of breaks. I have a sunny patio great for afternoon naps, and a nice open backyard if you prefer your dog to play in an enclosed area.
