We are so glad we found Nicki! We were hesitant to use Rover.com without having a personal referral, but she is the best dog sitter we have had (including above family). Our dogs are large and both have special needs with one being a high anxiety rescue and the other a senior with hip issues and both are on medications at different times of the day. Nicki went out of her way to try to re-create our routine to help reduce stress and to be sure they ate properly. The high anxiety Great Dane rescue doesn't trust most dog sitters (or people) and it can takes days (if at all) for her to warm up and come too close to someone. However, Nicki is genuinely sweet and tentative to the dogs and Lily warmed up to her on the first meeting and immediately trusted her on her first night. This is so comforting and gives us peace of mind when we are away. Thank you Nicki!

Nicki has stayed with our huskies on numerous occasions over the last year (the longest stay being 15 days). I can't begin to express how amazing she is. Our dogs love her and are always stress free when we get home. She's grown to be their second mom. Nicki has always kept us up to date, sent us plenty of pictures, and taken great care of the house (we always come home to a clean house). She goes above and beyond anything we could ever ask for. Since the first stay that we booked with her we've never considered any other pet sitter (we actually planned our vacations around her availability). We're sad that she's relocating to a new area, but are very happy for her that she's getting to pursue her career in helping people too! Needless to say, we highly recommend her to anyone in her new service area!
