I enjoy both house sitting and pet sitting, I have been doing it since January of 2018. I currently have 8 dogs and 3 cats! I've also had dogs and cats my whole life, so I love all animals and love to take care of them. I genuinely enjoy the company of cats and dogs, and they seem to be comfortable with me the moment I meet them. I will also care for pets other than cats and dogs, if needed! I've House/Pet sat for three families so far, staying overnight for a week or more at a time. I strive to keep the pets on their normal schedule, and am usually at the home most of the time so they have company and someone to watch over them during the day. If I am to drop by the house once or twice a day, I'll make sure the pets have plenty of everything they need. (If they are indoor pets I also make sure they are let outside enough times.) I'm also fine with house sitting and there being no pets in the home. I always try to leave everything the way it was when I arrived, so before I leave I do like to clean areas of the house that I've used. I do enjoy having a friend come stay with me while house or pet sitting, but only after asking permission first. I am fine if that's not an option!
