Pet care experience
Nick & Diane: Nick cares for visiting pups in our home. He has been doing so for several years and has 25+ repeat customers. Our two dogs, Olive and Babe (aka Kitty-Kat), have not yet met a visiting dog they did not like. Nick prefers to watch just 1 visitor at a time so we can give them the utmost attention ... treating them as if they were our own. We will occasionally take in two and of course always will if the two are from the same family. Diane has been pet & home sitting in the client's home for many years. She has cared for dogs, cats, horses, birds, chickens, rabbits, snakes, goats and who knows what-all. As a young woman she was a tech vet. For Diane the meet & greet is held in your home so you may see how she interacts with your pets. References from clients she has worked with for years - upon request. If, while sitting, you need some watering, yard tending or the like... she is always glad to accommodate. Diane's relevant experience is 20 years of pet sitting.
Reviews
Great outside area-small inside. No walks but time outside in good weather.
Leo is already looking forward to his next stay!
Nick and Diane did a great job looking after our animals. They were all happy and well fed. I will use them again.
Riley was at Nick’s house for 3 weeks. She was well cared for and a happy dog when we picked her up. Thank you for everything!

Information Nick T. would like to know about your pet
We will watch any dog of (almost) any age or sex (no pups under 1 year of age). We find that once you get to know a dog they just love to see you, whether coming to your house for a stay or you going to their home for a visit. They may know their owners are leaving for a while but they get over that quickly....especially when we begin to spoil them as we do.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We live on a country road. It is safe but not the easiest of walks. With the running area our yard provides most people agree a structured walk is not necessary. We will however walk your dog if after familiarizing yourself with our space you still feel a walk off premises is what your dog needs. No problem. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog will sleep in our bedroom on his own bed, at least that is where we will start him out. There are always extra beds in the living room, the office and the 3rd bedroom. Therefore, after figuring the layout, your guy (or gal) may decide to sleep elsewhere....again, their call. Time we will spend with your dog: Either I or Diane will always be on premises. We spend time on and off with all of the dogs, ours and others, as we go through our daily activities. Your dog will either be roaming the yard, wrestling with one of our pups or just being lazy...indoors or out, his call. Diane, while staying in your home, will make sure your pets (cats, dogs or whatever) are happy and content until you return. If that means letting them sleep with her or share the couch (as long as it is fine with you) then that's what we do. Because I have been doing this for so many years you can be comfortable with the knowledge that I have probably faced any conceivable situation and can handle same properly.
