Hello. My name is Nick, and I've cared for animals all my life. Including dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles. I live in a home with a fenced yard in a nice and quite neighborhood right next to a school with access to several parks. I have 2 empty rooms if anyone needs separating. I have owned a dog with epilepsy and have skills required for special needs animals. I have volunteered in the past for the keller animal shelter. I will provide daily exercise and engagement for your animal in my home, or yours. Including walks and games, playtime, grooming and even snuggle time. I am good with cats, birds, and reptiles as well. My family includes a 33 year old parrot named Jesse that we have raised from a hatchling and I have kept reptiles since I was a kid. I look forward to meeting you and your pets, and while they are in my care, I will make sure they are safe and happy.

Nick was extremely patient and loving with Baxter. We were nervous about leaving him for the first time and he did take some time to adjust but by the end of the stay, he had really warmed up to him and Lucy. He was available pretty much all the time and sent us frequent updates and pictures. He was also flexible with timings which I really appreciated. Baxter returned a very happy, energetic and social little boy. We had a stellar experience with Nick and will definitely use him again.
Nick has looked after our pets Sammy (dog) and Hobbes (cat) on multiple occasions. He is extremely responsible with them and they absolutely love going to stay with him and Lucy. Nick communicates regularly and is always very accommodating. He understands some of the stresses of frequent travel and he goes out of his way to make the process of leaving our fur babies as easy and convenient as possible. We are very grateful for his support and care for our beloved pets. They have a second home with Nick and I always know they are happy and cared for.
Nick was awesome with our two big dogs! He was flexible with our last minute schedule changes and was very accommodating. He sent several updates and photos during our dogs’ stay with him. Their stay with him was excellent! Nick I’d kind, compassionate, clearly loves dogs, and is a great communicator! 100% recommend!!!
Nick was so awesome with my Husky and Golden. He was very flexible when it comes to drop-off and pick-up times. I would definitely need his help when we have another vacation in the future. Thanks again- Henry

I have a decent size yard, that is fenced.(however, there are some parts that are only 4 foot chain link, so please be aware that if you have a jumper or climber, this will not work.)

I do not have breed preferences, but am selective of some dogs on a case by case basis, as needed. I do not host non-fixed animals, especially males, and Even if fixed, I need to know of males tendencies around females. My dog deserves to be as happy and comfortable as yours while they are here. I would want to know of any aggressive behavior, (while eating or otherwise), and also personal habits such as chewing, or potty accidents in the house. I like to follow whatever feeding schedule they are used to. I know it can be stressful for some dogs, so familiar things are nice to have. Bed, toys, crate, etc. Any medications they are on.
A typical day
I have several parks near me for exercise and engagement, and plenty of room to run in my yard, and play with my dog Lucy. Since I don't work full time, they can go outside whenever they want, for potty breaks, or to chase the squirrels.

Availability
I am not currently working full time, and have plenty of time for exercise and playing. I get up around 7, and bed time is around 9 or 10.
