I’m Nick and I’m a researcher at UT (remote). I’ve had many cats and dogs in my life, both during my childhood and independently as an adult. I’ve had dogs with special needs (missing legs, behavioral issues) and I know how to adapt my behavior to meet the needs of individual animals. I know how to clicker train both cats and dogs and have successfully graduated several dogs through obedience school. I also have some experience with agility training dogs. I live an active lifestyle and would love to take your dog for a run, a hike on the Greenbelt, or to a dog park! I look forward to meeting you and providing care for your furry loved ones!

Nick is the best! He was extremely flexible on a short notice for two very difficult dogs, and was amazing and patient with both of them. We also got really cute dog pictures and he was very respectful with the house. We are beyond grateful and highly recommend, particularly if you have dogs that are nervous or anxious!
Nick was so great with my puppy. He kept me up to date on her and I was so grateful for the photos. She really had a connection with him. As far as Austin, TX Rover sitters, Nick was hands down one of the best!

For boarding, I live in a one bedroom apartment that is in a complex with two dog parks. My apartment is located in Brentwood, which is a very walkable, dog-friendly neighborhood. For dogsitting, I can stay overnight at your place or do regular drop-ins depending on your preferences.

A typical day
I love to provide both mental and physical stimulation to your animal! I love walks, hikes, swimming and can even take your dog skateboarding if you’re comfortable with that. I also love to play fetch and tug of war. I’m also happy to just veg if your dog is on the mellower side.
