I am a dog lover! I had Smokey (Black Lab) for 13.5 years and when she passed in 2015 it really crushed me. I think I am ready to have another dog, however I am a touring musician & I cannot have a dog of my own. Dog sitting my friend's dogs always brings me joy. I figured Rover would be a good way to spend time with doggies and make a little money in between tours. Plus, finding a legit sitter for Smokey was hard, so I know and understand the void that a service like Rover fills. If I can help someone, hang with doggies and make a little money. I'm into it! Also, having a traditional job isn't really an option in my career at the moment.
