Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs in our home and had a guinea pig as a boy. As an adult, I have owned and cared for dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, gerbals and a mouse. This past year my wife and I have been foster dog parents, working with a local rescue group. We have helped place over 10 dogs in forever loving homes. Through this experience I've realized I very much enjoy working with a variety of pets and meeting people that also love pets.

We have a enclosed patio room with crates/pet beds and a pet door for small to medium dogs to access the back yard. The back yard is fully enclosed with a 6'stockade fence and we have a portable fence that can be used to block off parts of the yard as needed. We have a 7 lb Chiweenie and 2 cat that are comfortable with dogs. My wife is also an animal lover and has worked at a veterinarian office at one time. We let our pets roam in and outside as they want and would crate visitors at night unless well mannered and could be trusted to be out at night.

Availability
I am recently retired so have a flexible schedule and am looking for enjoyable work to keep me busy. I am available mostly during the day and can work out early evening visits for home visits and walking.
