The worst thing about leaving for college was leaving my dog behind. She meant so much to me and I loved when she got super excited each time I came back home to visit. I miss having a dog and that’s why I’m doing this. I grew up with a Schnauzer and i have also been caring for my parents’ wire haired pointing griffon. I’m a little allergic to dogs, so I prefer more hypoallergenic breeds. I always trained my dogs growing up, so I’m fairly experienced with the basics. I don’t mind going to the dog park if need be and I’m happy to take them on linger walks if they need more exercise. I live near the beach, so I can walk them on the strand as well.
