Big house, fenced in yard, fun time

Pet care experience

I am 27 years old and have had dogs my entire life. Some people might tell you that I am better with animals than I am with people. I have a lot of experience in taking care of senior dogs and my generally alpha attitude has always done great to keeping younger more energetic dogs in line. I can provide the love and emotional support your dog needs while also keeping them active and happy. Not only will your dog get at least 2 walks in every day, they will also have free range of my 3000 square foot house and my large fenced in backyard! I love spending time with dogs and will probably give them more attention then you would expect from a dog sitter. My goal as a dog sitter is to give your dog the attention and activity they need, while truly enjoying the time I get to spend with them.

Nick was fantastic! He arrived on time and did over and above of what we asked of him. He stayed at out house and all animals were content and happy. The most important thing was the care of the animals and he handled 5 crazy dogs and one cat with ease. The week he spent with them was for them- and by the time we got home, he had each dog's pet peeves and preferences down pat. Kept us up to speed with pictures and answered texts promptly. He is one to definitely recommend and would use again in a heart beat! Thanks Nick- Great Job

We lucked out with Nick!!! We needed last-minute daycare for my very active Lucy, and Nick was happy to take her. He and his roommates kept her very active and happy all day long, and gave a wonderful report at the end of the day. Nick was appreciative of Lucy and her personality, and his 17-year-old amazing dog, Magnolia, was there to keep her company. When we are back in the area, I will make sure to book ahead of time; this is the place for Lucy.

Information Nick C. would like to know about your pet

Is the dog housebroken? Does the dog display leash aggression? Does the dog have food bowl aggression? Does the dog play well with other dogs? What is the dog's general activity level? What kind of play does the dog enjoy? What kind of training (if any) does the dog have?

A typical day

I have a predetermined loop that is about 2 to 2 and a half miles. During this loop, your dog and I will come across a quiet little pond that is frequently well stocked with geese. Continuing from the pond it is a short walk to Jackass Hill Park. here your dog will have all the space they need to run and depending on the dog this is a great place to let them off the leash for a bit. On the return trip, your dog and I will take a different route back to the house, going through another small park with some wooded areas. For a longer walk, I will most often take them over to the bike path that is about half a mile from my house and walk the path until the dog (or myself) start to show signs of getting tired. The bike path features a gravel path surrounded by trees for the majority of the trip. When it comes to physical activity while at the house, your dog will have free range of my large backyard where I will gladly play fetch or any other game your dog will enjoy. I also have a lot of experience in training dogs. So if you're looking for a hand with getting your dog to follow some of the basic commands such as sit, lay, stay, and shake, I will gladly work on these with your dog as well.
