Pet care experience
Although I do not have any "formal" pet care experience, I have provided in-home dog sitting for countless friends and family members. It's easy when you have multiple dogs yourself! My wife and I adopted our first pound puppy in 2005 and have consistently been a multi-dog household since we adopted a second in 2009. Our third dog, a "failed foster" who came to us with crippling anxiety, taught me how to bring highly anxious dogs out of their shell. I am a patient and careful person who is honing his caretaking skills homeschooling my 8-year old son Finneas--and otherwise keeping our household running. As any petsitter should, I pride myself on being trustworthy and reliable. I am happy to accommodate any requests you have to keep your dog healthy and happy.

Nick and his family are wonderful to our dog Lucy and they are a joy to communicate with. Nick does such a good job of taking care of Lucy and sending us pictures of her while we are gone. We have used Nick serval times now and each time we are so pleased with the love him and his family show Lucy.
Our little Sexy Dexy had a ball with Nick! He sent a lot of pictures, so I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation. He sent a picture of Dexter cuddling on his lap too, which was sooo adorable. It's a relief knowing that the sitter cares as much about Dex as we do. I would highly recommend Nick! Funny side note, one of the pictures Nick sent was so good that I blew it up and framed it :) When Dex got home he passed out for a good 4 hour nap.
Nick and his family did a great job making Atom feel comfortable on his first big stay away from his family.
