I love dogs! I have been around dogs my entire life; growing up, we always had two dogs, plus the neighbor dogs were constantly visiting. Once I turned 16 and got my driver’s license, taking the animals to their vet appointments became my primary job on the farm. After moving out to Colorado, I became the go-to girl for dog sitting among my friends and I discovered Rover! Now I'm back in New Hampshire and looking forward to working with the dogs here! I cater to both the dog and the owner’s needs when caring for their furry friend. Like in terms of sleeping arrangements: if the owner wants the dog to sleep in a crate at night, then that is where the dog sleeps; if the owner doesn’t have a preference where the dog sleeps, then it’s doggy’s choice: they can sleep with me, on the floor, where ever, I try to make everybody happy. High energy pup? Trips to the dog park every day! An old soul who enjoys naps? Great! I like reading. Need a picture update of your sweet canine every hour? You got it! No two dogs or dog-parents are the same, so why would I treat them like they are? I personalize my care for each dog and take into account the owner’s needs and rules as well. Regardless of whether they are in their own home or mine, we follow their routine, but generally first things first! Bathroom break, then breakfast, followed by a longer walk. Depending on the dog, the day would either be broken up into walks every two hours if needed, with trips to the dog park, or we could just hang out with short jaunts outside every now and then. Dinner time is still whenever they would normally eat dinner, and then one more trip outside before bed. We can check out local hiking trails or open land areas/ dog-friendly parks. I like throwing the ball or Frisbee, or playing tug of war, or even just wrestling. When it gets warmer (and the dog enjoys this) we could find a place to go swimming. If the dog has a vet or grooming appointment, we would do that too! My job is your pup's safety and happiness. I look forward to working/playing with your dog!
