My name is Nick and I am a 21 year old college student at Siena College. I have been working as a pet sitter since I was eleven years old. I have had dogs and cats in my home since I was even younger. My experiences have allowed me to work with pets of all ages, sizes and temperaments. I have even raised and trained several dogs since they were puppies. While I do not have any formal training in animal behavior, I have worked with a variety of dogs and other animals so I have a good understanding of the body language of animals. My classes are primarily in the afternoon this semester and I don't have classes on Fridays. This allows me plenty of time to look after your pets, whether for a walk in the morning or feeding and hanging out in the evenings. In addition to being a college student, an important thing to know about me is that I am an Eagle Scout. One of the fundamental principles of Eagle Scouts is trustworthiness. From personal experience, I know that one of the most important things a client looks for in a pet sitter is to feel safe knowing that they’re leaving their furry friends with a responsible person they can trust. That is why I include the fact that I am an Eagle Scout is because it is a good way of conveying the kind of person my clients are leaving their pets with.
