I believe that great customer service starts with excellent communication with clients. I like to ask clear and concise questions to ensure everything is in order before the stay. During the visit, I keep my client updated on our activities with lots of photos and text updates. I closely follow owner instructions to make sure your pup feels happy. I always like to meet new pet friends in a neutral location, but at home is fine too! When we first meet I like to get down to their level. I let the pup sniff my hand (this is like a handshake), then I seal the deal with a nice back scratch. If your pet is nervous, I always try and face sideways so they feel more in control. Also, yawning sends a signal to them that helps keep them as ease. I love all breeds and sizes of dogs, but I do always insist on a meet and greet first — that way we’ll know each other when we go for our first walk.

I work 9 to 5, but have a very flexible schedule. We’ll go outside for a potty break first thing in the morning, then another lap around the block before I leave. At lunchtime I'd pay another visit to stretch those doggy legs! In the evening we'd go for another walk, and then outside again right before bedtime. I’ll structure our time to match your pup’s regular schedule as closely as possible. New York is full of fun places and smells for dogs to explore. I like to find places where they can feel the grass or earth beneath their paws.
