I am a sophomore at Marymount Manhattan College studying Musical Theatre. I have loved dogs all of my life and have never had a professional dog caring job, but I have worked with dogs caring for them for many years. Dogs of all sizes and breeds are almost therapeutic for me in a sense, because they give so much love to those who give love to them. I’ve lived in New York City for almost two years and I have spent most of the time getting places by walking. I’m very efficient at making my way around the city. I have walked dogs many times before outside of the city and I know how to handle them and make sure they are getting their exercise in a safe and fun manner. I enjoy walking around the city and walking with dogs would just make the experience even more enjoyable. I also have pet sit for dogs multiple times over the summer. Surrounding myself with dogs alone would prompt me to being in a highly positive and happy mindset while taking the pups out for a walk! The safety of animals is also a high priority of mine, they come first all of the time. Finally having a professional dog walking/sitting job would be a dream come true.
