I have been an animal lover my entire life and first began caring for pets at a young age when I was given the responsibility of being the primary caretaker for our two family dogs (feeding, exercising, cleaning, making vet appointments, etc...). Throughout high school and college I worked for several neighbors and family friends as a pet sitter/dog walker. All in all I've worked independently with: 2 Brittany Spaniels (caretaker) 2 Golden Retrievers (dog sitting/walking) 1 Jack Russel Terrier (dog sitting/walking) 1 Labrador Retriever (dog sitting/walking) 1 Mid-Sized Mix Breed (caretaker) 2 Cats (cat sitting) several other miscellaneous pets (Birds, gerbils/hamsters, etc...) After graduating college, I worked for a doggy day care and boarding facility for approximately 6 months before starting graduate school. My duties there included: Supervision for anywhere from ~30 to 100 dogs in the daycare area Feeding and administering medicine for boarding pets. Maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for all pets I have a very available and flexible schedule, and I look forward to helping out with pets of any kind in any way I can!
