I've always had dogs whenever my life allowed it. I had many dogs as a farm kid growing up in Arkansas, and in the service I owned and worked alongside several different canine compatriots. I have 25 years as a dog owner (my current companion is Jedi, a red Pomeranian) and 2 years working alongside or caring for dogs. My love, respect, and experience with these animals means that I'm never really working when I am taking care of them. The emotional well-being of my client's pets is very important, because human's need their pets to be in a good head space so that the pet can continue to bring love to the family. Outside time, human contact, and doggy socialization are key to that emotional well-being.
