Earlier this year I home sat and took care of a dog for a month, and I don't know if I've had a more pleasant experience in my life. Since then, since I moved to the city I've been looking to take care of more pups and I’m thrilled to have found this opportunity to do so with Rover! I just know it will be a lot of fun, not only for me, but for the dogs I care for as well. I never had a dog growing up, or any pets for that matter and I was actually a bit afraid of dogs. That all changed after I graduated from college when my best friend bought a German Shepherd and I started taking care of him when my friend was away. It didn't take long for me to fall for the big guy, and ever since I had that experience I have loved being around all kinds of dogs. It just goes to show how a positive experience can completely change your perspective! I don't have any specific breed preferences and all my dog sitting experience is from frequently caring for my friends’ pups. I live in Prospect Lefferts-Gardens and I love the fact that it's relatively quiet compared to some of the other neighborhoods in Brooklyn, plus it's super close to Prospect Park! Our building also has a nice, sizeable backyard we can relax in, too. I live with my brother and another roommate and I work from home while they work outside of the house. Working from home allows me to take your pup to Prospect Park a couple times a day, or just hang out in the backyard.
