There are a couple of reasons why I would love to provide boarding for dogs. One reason is that last year we adopted a cat from my late mother in law. We are so glad that we took her in, but she tends to keep herself to herself. We have two boys, who are secondary aged and they have a got a lot from the experience of looking after her. Also, last year I started walking every day. The only problem is that I have to walk alone - I can’t walk a cat! I would love to help someone with their dog during the owner's holiday or weekend break. I’d prefer to look after a small dog. We are a loving household and would treat your dog as a member of our family while you were on holiday. We would follow any recommendations that you gave for your dog's care, so that you will feel reassured, that while you are away that your dog is getting the best possible care in a family home. I am happy to update you while you are away with pictures and videos of your pet. I had a dog growing up, so I am used to dogs and their care and I have done some dog sitting for other people. My boys would also love to look after a dog, although I would be the primary carer. My husband and I work full time in teaching (this means we both have enhanced DBS Certificates) so school holidays and weekends would be best, but if your dog doesn't mind being home alone then I can help during school time too. We live near lots of fields and dog walking areas and have a fenced garden. Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions.
