We have a lovely Labrador, Luna, who is a great companion, very friendly and loves everyone with two and four legs. We love our daily walks on the Ashdown Forest and go out twice a day. We usually go for a longer walk in the mornings and a shorter one in the afternoons, which can be flexible as I work part-time from home. In between walks, Luna and dog friends can curl up on dog beds in the kitchen and in the sitting room and they can go out and play in the garden. Growing up with a dog and cat, and with many extended family and friends with dogs, I have been around dogs all my life. My children (now teenagers) have grown up with cats and then we decided to get a dog of our own, hence Luna, and we are thrilled to bits having her in our lives. We love having a dog and would love to have a second one but don't want to commit to one at the moment. We still have our cats, who have their own space in the utility room with a separate entrance to the front. Dogs have the run of downstairs and the garden in the back. All works well if needing to be separate. Luna had a litter of puppies in the summer which was both seriously hard work and an utterly amazing experience. Having dealt with seven lively Labrador puppies in the house, I think I can handle just about anything!
