Pet care experience
I have two of my own dogs that I have had since they were puppies. Lucy is 8 years old and Mikiyu is 9. I have always had dogs growing up and I love spending time with them doing everything from lounging on the couch to going on runs with them. Your dog will love me and I dont discriminate based on breed or size. I am happy to come to your home to spend time with the dog and I will follow all instructions regarding any special dietary needs. I have recently finished my master’s degree in public health, and I am extremely passionate about animals and would love to care for your pet like they are one of my own. My schedule is flexible and I have a reliable form of transportation.

Nicci did a great job watching Ruby! Our dog doesn't like when we leave and Nicci helped make that transition enjoyable for Ruby! I could tell how much Nicci loved dogs and cared about them. Her dogs got along really well with Ruby and when I picked Ruby up she seemed calm and very excited to see us! Great sitter!

I have had large breed dogs while growing up, who would pull quite a bit on walks so I am very experienced with this. I also understand the importance of maintaining security while going to a clients home, and I am happy to follow any and all instructions related to keeping your animal, and your home safe.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs that require attention. I have handled senior dogs who require daily medication, post-surgery recovery, and raw food diets. My goal is to make the separation as easy on the dog (and owner) as possible. I am happy to help out however I can.
A typical day
My dog Mikiyu absolutely loves playing fetch and this is one of our favorite activities to do together. I always bring a ball with me on our walks, and I will bring her to the dog park downtown so she has an opportunity to run off leash. If this is something that you are not comfortable with, my next best choice choice is walking along the Rail-Trail and the surrounding areas.
