Pet care experience
I have been doing Rover for two years. I've had dogs almost my whole life. I helped raise a cairn from 8 weeks old, so I can really handle anything. I am a big time terrier lover, but really have fun with all breeds. I will only do one booking at a time, so your pup will get tons of attention with me. I don't mind brushing, giving a bath if they need it, and letting dogs go on the couch and sleep in bed if they like to.

Since I hadn’t vacation in 3 years due to the pandemic, I was now looking to board my dog for a week. Luckily, a friend suggested that I look into Rover.com … & especially lucky that I found Nic!!! He treated Takoda as if he were his own & kept me informed during the week with updates and photos! Nic was awesome & I really appreciated his wonderful care of my ‘baby!!’

I'm happy to walk them and put a lot of effort into getting them outside to do their business. Most dogs get used to me quickly, settling down within minutes of being dropped off, and relaxing. I appreciate minding their hesitancy and helping them get comfortable. So far nearly all breeds I have watched have taken to me quickly and are returned very happy and restful. My #1 priority is that your dog is kept safe. Upon dropping off, please inform me on any of their boundaries. While I enjoy making a pup super happy, their safety must come first.

Information Nic D. would like to know about your pet
I definitely need to know their bathroom schedule, sleep schedule, and complete feeding information. I prefer to set up a meet and greet to get to know your dog, but occasionally a full description of their behavior is satisfactory for me. It's a bonus if you can tell me any tricks they know, how they like to play, and how they handle interacting with new people/dogs.
A typical day
I love to play disc golf and take a dog with me up at Veterans Memorial Park. The long walks through the trails have made every single dog that I have watched very happy :D

I still see my family dogs in Easton sometimes, so they can meet if you approve. They're old now and completely harmless and friendly. My girlfriend loves dogs and is a nurse, so sometimes brings some extra attention when she's off work! On weekends they will get loads of outdoors fun and attention. On weekdays I work in my family business 5 minutes from my home and I will keep them with me. My schedule is flexible during the day and I can always take them out and give them some play time. Your dog will be rarely, if at all, left alone.
