BIO I've always been an animal advocate, but doggos and puppers hold a special place in my heart. In my college days, I started pet-sitting when I wasn't able to go home for the holidays. But it was a great way to get out of my domestic pet comfort zone and play with some colorful characters: cats, lizards, turtles, ferrets, and snakes! Pet-sitting is a creative way for me to live vicariously through other pet owners. Growing up, I wasn't allowed to have pets. But I've always had friends with pets. I love puppers and older doggos too. I was a "step-mom" George (border/collie lab) for four years. Currently, I help my partner with his basset hounds. Gretel and Stanley. Think of me as your doggy godmother :) I offer: *DOG WALKING: Whether your dog needs more attention or it just needs to get its crazies out, I can support you with daily neighborhood walks. I love being outdoors as much as possible, so we can play, exercise or go on an adventure while allowing you to focus on your away-from-home schedule. *DROP-IN/HOME VISITS: We all know work can get crazy sometimes and it can be tough to take a break to go home during the day. Bathroom breaks, administering medication, all the cuddles -- you name it. I'm more than happy to drop by to check on your fur baby and give you some peace of mind that they're being cared for while you're away. *OVERNIGHTS/EXTENDED VISITS If you're planning a trip or something unexpected happens, I can stay with your dog in the familiar comfort of its home. Typically, I will be working full time, but mostly in the evenings. For more extended visits, I can be free in the morning and early afternoon on weekdays, and completely open on the weekends. TRANSPORTATION NOTE: I am also a full-time cyclist, so I won't be able to drive anywhere. But I have access to public transportation or ride-share services if the situation calls for it. Since I work in the service industry, my schedule is always subject to change. If there are specific needs, please feel free to message me and we can try to work something out. I live in the North End of Boise, which offers a safe, quiet and pleasant neighborhood atmosphere. There is a dog park nearby (Sunset Park) if your dog is a social butterfly. I live with a housemate that is as equally pet-obsessed as I am because we aren't allowed to have pets. The silver lining? Infinite belly rubs are quite common and to be expected.
