Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Neva (they/them), and I have been caring for my own pets, as well as caring for other’s pets as if they were my own, for 10 years. Friends and family have entrusted me to walk, feed, and give their pets lots of snuggles while they were out of town. My own dog, Sam, has recently crossed the rainbow bridge after 7 years in my care (I rescued him when he was 6) and in those wonderful 7 years we enjoyed hiking, adventures, and snuggles on the couch. I will love and spoil your pets as much as I did my own, and I guarantee that they will feel safe and cozy with me.

Neva offered quality care for our dog and cat while we went out of town. When we got home the pets were calm, cool, and collected. So grateful to be able to leave home feeling secure about our furry friends in our absence.
Neva was fantastic and gave my senior pup all the love, attention, and snuggles she requires. She kept me updated regularly with photos and little anecdotes about their day together. My dog adored her and that made me a happy dog mom.
Neva was amazing! So very kind and just a wonderful person. She is incredibly dog knowledgeable so don’t hesitate. My dogs and I loved her and she really helped us out on short notice!

I’m comfortable with all activity levels, whether your pet needs daily exercise or prefers being a potato on the couch. Also experienced with older dogs, dogs with extra support needs, leash reactive dogs, and medication administration.

A typical day
I love going for walks, hikes, and anything outdoors! When I’m not outside, I spend my time doing quiet activities like drawing/painting, crafting, going for drives, and watching documentaries. I would love for your pet to keep me company while I do these things!

Availability
I currently work part time while I am in school, with shifts lasting no longer than 6 hours. This gives me plenty of time to spend with pets who are uncomfortable with or unable to be left alone for long periods of time. Since I do work in the restaurant industry, my hours are a little weird and I don’t have a set schedule, so I may not be a good fit for pets who need to be fed and walked at a specific time each day.
