Pet care experience
My name is Nestle & I am a certified dog trainer through animal behavior college. I have been a dog trainer for 10 years. I train all breeds even Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, German Shepards, Cane corsos etc. For training I always use positive reinforement. I also teach basic obedience as well and work with any dog with any issue. I used to work at Petco for 4 years so I am knowledgeable about nutrition, pet products, pet care etc. I also have experience in grooming. I have experience working at 2 doggie daycares as well. I also used to volunteer at an animal shelter (peaceable kingdom) and walk the dogs there. I currently have 6 pets I have a sun conure, crested gecko, 2 leopard geckos & 2 dogs (Bichon & Maltese). I have been working for rover for over 3 years. I am an animal lover. I have a 3 year old who is also friendly with animals. I have experience with all types of animals all are welcomed! My goal is help others in need and save animal lives.

Nestle Is a "Great Person for this Job"... I've known her for a couple of years and shes even trained my German Shepherd, and all I can say is WOW, she is so amazing, talented, very kind and super trust worthy. SHE WORKS WITH SO MUCH LOVE THAT YOU WONT REGRET HER AS A DOG SITTER... SHE IS A ONE IN A KIND HUMBLE GIRL!!!

When I go to a clients house to walk their dog or just do a drop in I make sure everything is taken care of. Pups come first and I always ask the client if they need anything additional done around the house. I don’t mind cleaning or helping out. I can take care of other animals such as hamsters, Guinea pigs, reptiles, birds, fish, etc. before leaving a clients house I make sure all doors are locked, the pups are good & settled and the home is secure before heading out. For clients to feel comfortable I do take lots of pictures and videos of their pup and if they want to FaceTime their pup I’m fine with that too.

Please let me know if your dog has any health issues, behavioral issues, allergies etc. I worked in 2 doggy daycares. I have taken care of dogs with cancer, diabetes, and epilepsy. I do know how to give medication. Dogs with a special diet just let me know what they can and can’t have. If they can’t have treats because of allergies just let me know. Sometimes if it’s a holiday or your pups birthday I like to bring them a treat & a toy.
A typical day
I am a dog trainer so usually I ask the client what the dog knows or what they might need help with. Mental stimulation is something every dog needs so I always offer a helping hand with training. Playing ball, tug of war, puzzles. Dog puzzles are so awesome and beneficial. Keeping your dog occupied and nice long walks on the trails helps so much.

I work part time at a family owned jewelry store and they are all pet lovers as well. I have a flexible schedule and we are usually closed for holidays.
