Dog Sitter/Walker (:

Pet care experience

NEXT AVAILABILITY - APRIL (new clients must book a meet and greet before date of booking) Calendar availability reflects new clients only. Please read through the entire message as it is important (: Hi! My name is Neriah (Pronounced Mariah, but with a N). My pronouns are she/her. Things to Know Before Messaging Me: -I require Meet & Greets before booking with new clients (unless visiting/located outside of San Francisco) Meet & Greets take place at any agreed location except for my home because of safety and sanitary reasons. We can, however, meet inside or around my building. -Due to my place being pet friendly, I am not taking aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs are okay, but to be determined after discussion and/or Meet & Greet. -I have a Service Dog In Training who is always up to date on all his vaccinations, friendly with other dogs, and will be present at Meet & Greets if your dog gets along with others. He does not need to be there during your dog’s stay if you prefer that as we have arrangements with family close by. -I have experience with cats/kittens, but am more experienced with dogs. Though I can do house sittings or drop in visits upon request. -I do not take new client requests within 3 days before the stay (I will make exceptions for repeat clients and those I’ve already had a Meet & Greet with) Here are a few things about me: -I’ve been on Rover since 2019. I don’t require reviews, but I am grateful for every single one. -I love all animals and treat them as if they’re my own. Besides Rover, I volunteer/foster at rescues/shelters when I can. -I have experience with or have clients whose dogs have: separation anxiety, reactivity, oral medication, senior dogs, high energy dogs, shy dogs, puppies (I’m not a professional trainer. I will not use methods you don’t prefer on your dog.) -My dog ambassadors for small businesses, so if you ever need recommendations, feel free to reach out for a discount code (treats, leashes/collars, custom pet apparel) Things to Know About Their Stay: -Before each stay, the main things I ask for you to bring is: walking gear (leash/collar/harness/etc.), dog food, treats, and poop bags. Everything else I can provide unless you want to bring your own things! -I always update you with photos/videos of your dog during their stay -Water and food bowls on hand. I have bowls and slow feeders for every sized dog. They are cleaned before each dog comes over. -Lots of toys: stuffed, rubber, enrichment, etc. (Just let me know if they like to eat or destroy certain ones so I can put them aside, but I supervise all play regardless). -I have a crate, dog bed, and a couch that pulls out into a bed that they can sleep on (I have blankets for them too). -I have all necessary supplies in case you forget or don’t have some on hand. Some clients have also had supplies delivered if you prefer to do that! Poops bags are the only things I ask for you to replace (: -My complex is extremely dog friendly and even has a dog wash station and mini dog park. -I have a spacious, secluded patio of my own with a view if they want to have fresh air and/or to chill there. -Parks close by (5 minute walk); Yerba Buena Park is the closest. -Pet Hospitals are located within walking or driving distance (I can also drive to one that you prefer!) -Pet Supply stores are within walking or driving distances. ~Excited to be working with you! (: Contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns~ Thank you!

Neriah was a great sitter! She went above and beyond in taking care of our furry family members and kept us up to date on their food, walks, and playtimes. She also gave us tips for training, including sending example videos and explanations. We’ll definitely hire her again!

Neriah and her boyfriend were really great! We were nervous to leave our pup and they did a great job of answering our questions and making us feel at ease. Neriah sent a couple photos every day and was really communicative. Aloo clearly loved his time with them and felt comfortable. We would rebook with Neriah anytime!

Neriah was very communicative and easy to coordinate with. She provided regular updates through texts, pictures, and videos. Our pup seemed to be very happy staying at her place. Will most definitely have our pup stay with her in the future. Highly recommended!

Neriah watched our puppy for two weeks while we were out of town. She was absolutely amazing! She sent us pictures of Archie everyday and kept us informed of his activities. We knew he was safe and having fun during his stay. We always love when he stays with her and trust her entirely!

A typical day

This truly depends on the dog you have and the amount of time I have with them. I usually go at the pace of your dog and what you’d like me to do with them. If there is a specific thing you’d like for me to work on with them, that can be discussed and worked on (: If you have a senior dog who has low energy: I would just go on a walk around the neighborhood or a park, but mostly just chill inside. If you have a high energy dog: I would go on a hike, the beach, or a long walk. I also like to do puzzles with them for mental stimulation. A typical week with me and my dog (usually the same with clients, more or less): -Go on a hike, long walk in the park, or go to the beach -We train every single day! Inside and outside -Take breaks, some days we don’t do anything (I still take him out at 3-4 times a day for walks) -Sometimes we do meet ups with dogs we know as I only let him play with dogs we trust -Sometimes we take trips to dog friendly places like the pet store or cities close by we’ll go on adventures Personally I don’t take my dog to dog parks and I prefer not to take clients’ dogs to dog parks, but if you really would like me to, I can (If you want to know more about why, feel free to ask!)
