Hi! I’m Nelly and I absolutely love animals! I'm a dog mom to Nola Waffles, a friendly Mini Aussiedoodle. We live in a quiet house in East Palo Alto with a nice fenced yard and room to run around. I have had dogs all my life and I’ve been dog sitting since 2009 (references readily available!). In a past job, I was even responsible for training two office puppies, so I learned a lot about positive reinforcement training. My own dog, Nola, knows over 20 tricks! I am responsible, communicative and favor a positive reinforcement system when working with animals. I am also willing to send you as many photos as you would like of your pups on our adventures around the neighborhood! I am down for any care requirements your dog needs: belly rubs, medications, daily walks, play time. You name it. There isn't anything I wouldn't do for a dog! I am happy to do meet & greets and Nola and I are ready for some house guests!

I boarded my dog, Libby, with Nelly for 6 nights. Nelly took great care of Libby and was so communicative and kind the whole way through. She let us know about a behavioral issue of Libby's, but Nelly managed it and we are very grateful!

I would love to know your dogs routine and favorite things. Knowing that your dog likes scratches behind the ears over belly rubs is important info! It is also important to know your dogs words or hand symbols if they are different from what I use with my dog. Finally, your dogs general personality will be helpful to understand how to interact.
A typical day
I love to go on walks on the Bay Trail with your pup. We usually start the morning with a 30 min walk followed by breakfast and naps. Breaks throughout the day will include play and trick practicing, unless your pup has had too much fun playing with my dog Nola. Throughout the day we will have backyard visits and runs, and the end of the night will be full of snuggles and belly rubs.
