Pet care experience
I grew up with having cats and dogs in the family and have been taking care of friend’s and neighbor’s pets for over 10 years. I have experience taking care of multiple pets at a time, including young and elderly pets who may require additional attention. Additionally, my husband and I previously worked for a pet groomer, so we are comfortable with lots of breeds of dogs and know what it takes to care individually for them!

Nelle stayed with my pit mix Stella for a few nights and did a wonderful job taking care of her. Stella takes some regular medications and has some anxiety, so isn't the most straightforward dog to take care of - I felt totally relaxed knowing she was in good hands <3 thanks Nelle!
Nelle started walking for Indie shortly after we brought Indie home! We were so nervous to leave our new pup with anyone, but Nelle went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Nelle is reliable and Indie obviously has so much fun with her, and is well taken care of. Highly recommend Nelle! 🐕💕
Nelle took great care of my dogs and cats for several days while my family was on vacation across the country. Not only did she take care of the pets, but she also stayed at the house - brought in the mail, watered the plants, and other little household things. I never once worried about things because Nelle is such a great communicator; we touched base every day which was reassuring. It was such a relief to know that there was someone we could trust with our pets and house. I am so happy with her service and would hire her again without hesitation!
I cannot recommend Nelle enough! She watched my two dogs and went above and beyond to make sure they were well taken care of, comfortable, and having a blast. Nelle understands different dog temperaments and has a calming presence that allowed my skittish dogs to buddy right up to her. She also kept us updated with photos throughout the weekend. Couldn’t have asked for someone better!

I live in a roomy one-story house with a fenced in backyard where the dogs can run and play. Depending on your pet’s needs, I can comfortably accommodate them. Please note: I am only available for house sitting for a maximum of 3 nights.

A typical day
Having an active pup myself, I know what it takes to mentally and physically exercise active dogs. It’s important to me that the pups I’m watching are getting the proper attention and care they deserve. I love to play in the back yard, go for walks around the neighborhood, or even go for a hike if the weather is nice. If I’m watching dogs at my house, they will have the opportunity to play with and bond with my two dogs (both very friendly and playful!).

I regularly go for walks, hikes, and play in the backyard with my pups and I’m happy to care for your pet as if it was my own. I’m available any day and time of the week - just reach out!
