The Purr-fect Cat-Sitter For You!!
Pet care experience
First time using Rover?? ⭐️ Get $20 off on your first booking with me! Use my code NEILL68207 ⭐️ I have been in love with cats for as long as I can remember! I became a cat-parent at 14-years old, and have been doing pet care for others for just as long. Right now, I live in a house of three cats and ten humans. I have a lot of experience with giving medications of all sorts. I have special relationships with many kitties around Capitol Hill! While I love all animals, I work with cats exclusively. I am 1000% a “cat person”, and cats provide me with the personal and professional flexibility I need. *MEDICATION EXPERIENCE* -Oral Medications (physical administration, pill pockets, and hiding in food) -Food Powders -Inhalers -Oral Syringes -Injection Syringes -Paw Gels -Ear Meds
Reviews
Thank you!
Neil took amazing care of Penny, especially considering her special medical needs with chronic chin acne. He sent lots of pictures throughout the days he watched her, and never once was I worried about her well-being. Would definitely book with Neil again!
Neil was great! He helped us out at very short notice when our usual cat-sitter was unavailable. He asked detailed questions at the meet-and-greet. He also kept the cats' areas impeccably clean. We appreciated all the photos he shared every day.
Thank you!

My ideal house-sitting situation would allow me the flexibility to leave for a few hours at a time for other client check-ins in the neighborhood. I keep a close 1-mile service radius at all times. I commute by electric scooter (weather permitting), foot, and bus, and like to be near all of my clients. House-Sitting Rates Standard: two feedings, and sleeping in your home. Flexibility to leave periodically during the day for drop-in clients, errands, and personal needs. Per Night: $50 - First Cat $86 - Holiday Rate +$25 - Per Additional Cat Click "See Additional Services & Rates" in the "Services" menu to see all current rates. **PLEASE NOTE:** 20% of ALL payments go to Rover Fees, and about 20% go to taxes. Information Neil L. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for new cats, I love to get to know about their personalities & behaviors, routines, and more. Please fill out your pets profile information as completely as possible. I require one meet & greet prior to taking care of your cat for the first time, which I offer free of charge. I prefer to do these in-person so I can meet your cat(s), be shown where things are located, and do a key exchange (if applicable). I have an intake questionnaire to get to know how I can best take care of your cats! Please note: I do not accept booking requests from new clients until after the initial meet & greet. Please let me know if your cat has any special needs. I regularly care for animals that have dietary restrictions, physical limitations or just need a little extra attention in some way.
A typical day
On a typical day, I wake up wherever I am overnight sitting, and take care of litter and breakfast for the cats. I then do my morning route of drop-ins around the Capitol Hill area. During my cat drop-ins, I take care of food, water, medications, litter boxes, and get lots of snuggle and playtime in (unless it's a kitty that needs their space). Kitty snuggles are one of my favorite things in the world. I also include plant care, packages, and mail service if needed. If I am doing a once-a-day check-in with at cat, I prefer to do it in the morning/early afternoon around 9am-2pm. Sometimes I'll stop by my home during my route for self-care. In the early evening, I do a shorter PM route for the twice-a-day drop-in clients. After all my evening drop-ins are done, I return to my overnight sitting location to give the cats dinner and more loves. On average, I do 4-6 drop-ins per day in addition to my house-sitting clients. I provide detailed photo and written updates with each daily session. Physical Key Things: -I prefer to use lockboxes for key exchanges. -I have several lockboxes outside my home for clients to pick up and drop off keys at your convenience, though it's great if you have one of your own. -Keychains/tags are not necessary. I have a tag system for both long-term and short-term clients. -The KeyMe kiosks (inside Safeway and QFC) can make copies of any key, including key fobs for about $7. ⭐️Completed over 1,500 cat drop-in visits through Rover⭐️
