I'm a dog lover but currently do not have one. I volunteer at the Humane Society and have taken their course in dog handling. I prefer to have more of a one on one relationship than that provides. Our family had both a dog and a cat. Leo was 13 when we had to put him down. Waldo, the cat, was 19 when he walked out the door and disappeared. I am retired so am flexible. . Some of my other volunteer jobs are The Butterfly pavilion at the Tucson Botanical Gardens and I read for the blind every other Wednesday night for Sun Sounds of Arizona. My grand dogs were here in Tucson over Thanksgiving and loved my yard. I'm still finding hidden poop bombs.
