Although I’ve let go of my dreams of becoming a veterinarian, my love of animals hasn’t subsided. Over the years, I’ve cared for pets of friends and family. For the last 3 years, I’ve cared for my own sweet 9 year old pup Huey! I think each dog has its own unique identity and I LOVE getting to know them individually. I take Huey on hikes, runs, and long walks, so am well suited to care for a high-energy dog. If you have an older dog, no problem; I have experience taking care of senior or special needs dogs and administering meds. Lastly, I have a beautiful fenced backyard for your dog and, if you’re comfortable, Huey to run around and sniff to their heart’s content. If you let me walk, watch, or board your dog, you can be sure that they’ll get lots of love, scratches, and attentive care.

Neia is great with my pup! I've hired her for both dog walking and house sitting. She is reliable and provides great updates/pics. My dog is a bit scared of new people, but Neia quickly won her over. Highly recommend Neia for your pet.
We had an awesome experience with Neia as our first dog sitter for our newly adopted pup. She was super friendly and seemed to genuinely love dogs. She sent cute pics and updates throughout the day. Her dog was so sweet and was a good role model for our puppy. We will definitely reach out to Neia first next time we need a sitter :)
Neia provided an amazing experience for my shy dog. She looked after my dog while I was at work, and my dog warmed up to her real quick. She is a dog pro and knows what she's doing, definitely recommend!

Huey is a gentle 9 year old Pitbull/German shepherd mix. He is very friendly and loves dogs of all breeds and sizes. I’m attentive to his needs and know that leaving him with a new person is not a decision made lightly. As such, I will treat your dog with the same love and care that Huey gets. This means we will play often and safely, treat ourselves to snacks (after checking on any dietary restrictions), and make sure to give lots of belly rubs. I am communicative and responsive and will let you know immediately should any issues arise.

Availability
I’m a full time PhD student, completing my studies from home. I often take breaks to go on long walks, so why not enjoy that time with a neighborhood pup?! Finding time to walk your dog can be tough with a busy work schedule. Let me help you by taking your dog on walks during my breaks and, if you’re comfortable, providing some puppy socialization time with my dog, Huey.
