In my experience looking after dogs, I have found that energetic dogs love me, shy dogs feel comfortable with me and every dog in between enjoys their time with me. I have over 2 years of experience working with dogs and cats (and a few exotic animals sprinkled in) in professional settings, but have been around animals my whole life. I worked at PAWS Animal Shelter for 1 year and I was a Veterinary Assistant at Animal Medical Center of Chicago for a little over a year. I have been Fear Free Certified, meaning I have received training on how to handle animals while minimizing or completely abolishing fear, stress, and anxiety in pets in any and all situations. I have also been a pet owner myself for as long as I can remember and even rescued 4 baby squirrels as a kid! Needless to say, I cherish animals! I would be honored to run with your dog, take long walks, and play for hours. If you have a pet that is a little more hands-off, I am happy to limit interaction and take care of everything else like feeding, watering, etc. I am more than qualified to medicate pets and have taken care of baby animals, senior pets, and even have a disabled, young cat myself. I can take care of any and all of you and your pet’s needs!
