I'm an active young professional working in education nonprofit and residing in the Los Alamitos area, who loves dogs and the outdoors! I have recently moved back west after spending 3 years living in NYC (happy to be closer to family and in warmer weather!). While I get situated in California, I am residing with family in the Rossmoor neighborhood. While I am happy to offer walks around the super-walkabe area nearby, I also have transportation and can come to you and/or take your pup on excursions around the area (to the nearby dog parks, Rosie's dog beach, or on runs along the many beautiful running paths). Temporarily, I am offering House Sitting, Drop-in Visits, and Walking only. I have raised/owned Border Collies and Australian Shepherds my entire life, thus I am very familiar with caring for active dogs, as well as puppies and senior dogs. I have experience working as a dog walker and pet sitter throughout high school and college, caring for every type of dog from a tiny Chihuahua named Lolo to a 180lb Great Dane named Pebbles. My boyfriend and I have worked with Rover for about 2 years while we lived in NYC and love the experience! I am always able to accommodate pets with special needs, whether it be administering medication, preparing food for a particular diet (ask me about my recipe for super healthy, bone broth-based, organic dog food), or working aound specific triggers. As I want to be as attentive a sitter as possible, I try to only accept clients on the days that I am 100% free from obligations and/or working from home, so rest assured that I will be able to dedicate all of my time to taking care of your dog should you choose to book with me. If you request a date when I will be working or have plans, I am always upfront and check with you first to make sure my schedule fits with your pets needs. I have a real passion for dogs and am hoping I can help take care of your best friend next!
