Pet care experience
I’ve always had pets in my life since I was born. My mom picked up dogs and cats from the street to re-home back in the Dominican Republic. Ignacio, my husband, absolutely loves all pets as well. We are trying to teach our kids the same love and respect for animals to our kids. We have a husky called Russell who is 8 years old; very friendly and loves to play with other dogs, he is very good at matching your pets energy (after he is over the initial excitement). He is friendly with cats and small animals as well. Your pet will have several walks a day and free roam of our place so he can feel at home. We are pretty knowledgeable about cats and small pets as well. If your cat is good with dogs is welcome to stay for boarding or we can do drop-in visits depending on location. For small (caged pets) we have another room where they can stay in our home or provide drop-ins at your house as well. Reach out to us and we can discuss the special needs of your pet! We are more than happy to care for them. :)

Thanks so much! This was a wonderful introduction to the Rover app. Pringles was a calm and happy boy when we came back from our weekend getaway l Will definitely recommend.
We did a meet and greet and it was clear that Jordi would be right at home with Nate and Ignacio. I was not worried at all leaving Jordi here. This was Jordi's first day with a sitter and away from me since I got him Monday. Ignacio sent me pictures throughout the day and it was clear how comfortable Jordi was. I am so happy to know that I can leave him without thinking twice.

Boarding & Daycare: We do NOT take dogs under our care to off-leash parks. Your pet will always be on a leash and supervised during walks/ anytime outside. It is extremely important for us that pets under or care are good with kids and other dogs. Interactions with kids and other pets are always supervised.

Most important for our family is that pets we welcome to our home are kid-friendly as we do have 2 kids. Please do let us know in advance your drop-off and pick-up times as we plan or schedule around that.
A typical day
Generally, they will play or chill depending on your pet's personality and I have many pets toys. We include walks to make sure everyone is a happy tired by night depending on your pet routine and the level of energy. Pets that just want to chill and cuddle can do that as well, we give your pet time to choose the space where they want to be and how they feel more comfortable.

Availability
Boarding or Daycare: There is always one of us working from home during weekdays, pets can expect to play with Russell during the day or just chill next to humans (Russell usually follows other dogs' cues on what they want to do). They would get potty breaks in the morning, noon, late afternoon, and night. They will eat depending on their usual schedule (please let us know in advance for raw food so we can plan our fridge space), have access to water, play, and love all day. They will get a longer walk at noon and another one late afternoon. For the weekends we do go out as a family so your pet needs to be either crate trained or good on his own for at least 2-3 hours.
