Being a former exotic veterinarian assistant for two years, a Patient Care Specialist for a year and an overall animal enthusiast, I've learned a lot about giving the best care for pets and ensuring their health (especially when it came to boarding animals, building patience and empathy for fractious/nervous patients, administering medications, caring for patients in critical conditions, etc.). Being exposed to so many different kinds of animals has helped me learn that I would love to invest my time in a career that's animal-related: building and maintaining my own Herpetarium and aviary in the future and contributing to the conservation of endangered species! I have cared for owners' pets through Rover and other means for several years now, along with pets of neighbors and friends of family when needed. My passion for animals has also led to my own home being shared with a wide range of species, from mammals to birds, reptiles, amphibians, insects and fish!
