As someone who grew up with German Shepherds, cats, chickens, turtles, ducks, fish, and any number of small rodents, I LOVE animals and treat them like another human being. I think animals have the right to the kind of happiness I want in my own life. Not only do I enjoy pampering my animals, I’m a collegiate triathlete, so I understand the importance of fitness and nutrition in my pets as well as myself! I regularly take my parent’s dog Max on runs, and when we get back, I clean him up, get him some water and a recovery snack, then it’s off to nap time! One of my favorite things is cuddling with my dog and holding him. Letting him know that I’m there and that I love him!
